Composite chart
A composite chart is an astrology technique that combines two natal charts into a single symbolic chart for the relationship itself. It is often used to reflect on a relationship's shared atmosphere, priorities, and pressure points.
How astrologers use this idea
It differs from synastry, which compares one person's placements directly with another's. Many astrologers use both techniques for different questions.
Important context
A composite chart should support honest relationship conversations, not substitute for them or justify controlling behaviour.
Use it with your own chart
Astro Codes does not currently calculate composite charts; this guide explains the method without presenting it as an available tool.
