Moon
The Moon in a natal chart describes the inner weather: what soothes you, what you reach for under stress, and the private rhythm that does not show up in a public biography. Because the Moon changes sign every two to three days, an accurate birth date matters; the house placement also needs a birth time.
A Moon sign is not a mood forecast. It is a pattern of need. People often recognise it faster than their Sun sign once they have language for it — especially in family life, sleep, food, and the first reaction before a considered response.
Moon aspects, especially a Moon conjunct Saturn, a Moon–Neptune contact, or a tense Moon–Pluto square, change the tone of that need. Read the Moon as a body of water with weather, not as a label that explains every feeling.
