Sun
In a natal chart, the Sun is the centre of gravity. It describes how a person recognises themselves, what they are trying to become, and the kind of vitality they need in order to feel real. A Sun sign comes from your date of birth; the Sun's house and aspects need a full chart.
Sun-sign horoscopes stop at one twelfth of the sky. A natal reading asks a more useful question: in which house does that identity try to live, and which other planets support or pressure it? Two people with the same Sun sign can lead very different lives once houses and aspects are included.
The Sun is not a verdict and it is not a personality test. It is a language for the part of you that wants a direction. Read it with the Moon and rising sign — the Big Three — before treating any one placement as the whole story.
