Planet in house

Mars in the 2nd house

You fight and work for what can be held: money, talent, the right to persist.

How this house placement reads

Mars in the second house puts heat in worth. Motivation is often resource, food, the body, the refusal to be poor in spirit or in fact. Desire has weight. The tension is stubbornness as a lifestyle, or only acting when security is threatened. Growth is a pursuit that can also spend. Your will is a slow burn; it builds when it is not only a fist around the coin.

House, sign, and birth time

Planets describe functions; houses describe life areas. Here, mars acts through resources, money, values, and self-worth. The sign on the house and the aspects to Mars still matter. A transit of Mars through this house is temporary weather; the natal placement is climate.

In relationships this can shape what makes care feel tangible. In practical life the 2nd house concerns skills, income, and sustainable value. Mars wants a concrete challenge and room to act.
