Neptune

Neptune in a natal chart describes imagination, longing, permeability, and the places where a person dissolves a hard edge. It is the planet of film, faith, music, and also of fog: hopes that have not been checked against evidence.

Neptune in Aries is a sign placement shared by a generation as Neptune moves slowly. The personal question is which house it occupies and what it aspects. A natal Neptune in the tenth house is a different life from Neptune in the fourth, even when the sign is the same.

Neptune is not a diagnosis of confusion or a promise of mysticism. It asks whether a dream has a boundary. Kindness without a shoreline becomes self-erasure; imagination with a shoreline becomes art, care, or a vocation.
